Our team member, London based Danish Fashion Expert and multiple award-winning Designer, Jens Laugesen, announces his contribution to London Fashion Week 2018 with a new design trilogy that will launch with a film presentation on 18 February 2018 in London.
The film, shot and directed by photographer Simon Eeles, and styled by Anders Sølvsten Thomsen, depicts a woman’s search for sense and purpose. The new collection is supported by the Danish Arts Foundation and will explore the creative vision developed by Jens in revisiting the design language and the DNA of the fashion house, which have become known for ‘honing a vocabulary of fashion’.
Jens brings 30 years of experience and relations in the global Fashion and Luxury sectors across Paris, London, New York and Seoul. His acclaimed eponymous brand was launched at London Fashion Week and subsequently sold at leading stores worldwide (NY, London, HK, Tokyo). He has also been a multi-dimensional consultant, providing CEOs and management teams of international Luxury, Fashion and Textile groups (e.g. Calvin Klein, LG Fashion, Linda Farrow, Swarovski, Topshop) with both strategic and creative direction advisory services, including expansion strategies and brand audit. His unique profile combines a strong conceptual edge with a deep understanding of the Luxury market, creative marketing methods and design.
